GlamGlow: SUPERMUD™ CLEARING TREATMENT Review

Earlier in the week I spoke (well typed) about my experiences with GlamGlow YOUTHMUD TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT (you can find this here). I got on amazingly and really couldn't wait to try out GlamGlow SUPERMUD™ CLEARING TREATMENT. Naturally expectations where high and I was not prepared to be disappointed. 

Of course the packaging was utterly amazing, how can you not smile when you open the box and see 'Hello Sexy' staring you in the face? When I opened the jar I found some of the mask had dried around seal as you can see bellow. Other than that there where no real issues, this does however suggest that perhaps the jars are not sealed as tightly as they should be to prevent wastage of this precious wonder.

Out of the two GlamGlow products we where asked to try this has to be my favourite. There really is only one reason for this. It helps to smooth out any imperfections such as blackheads (a really big issue I have with my skin). Of course their are many more benefits than smoothing out imperfections and help with that glow we all crave. They have listed the full set of results on the official site:

So you can see in comparison to YOUTHMUD TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT there are far more benefits in the long term. One thing that has caught my eye is how it helps to restore photo damaged skin perfect for those over 40 who's sun damage over the past decades will start to show up on the skin.

Personally for that reason alone I think everyone should have this jar on their bathroom shelf. You can get 17 full masks out of it or for spot treatments up to 1000.

All you need to do is apply the mask to a clean face and let it work its magic for up to 20 minuets but depending on how time poor you are 5 minuets is totally perfect. You will feel the mask tighten as it drys and little bumps will appear this is where any imperfections are being sucked out. Once you have let GlamGlow Supermud work its magic you simply wash off with cool/warm(ish) water and pat dry. You will find yourself staring at your mirror in pure amazement at how fab your skin is.

The results last just over a week, however, I think using GlamGlow is the perfect booster for any skin care routine. As it effectively targets blackheads unlike any other product I have used before.

This is in and around the same price range of GlamGlow YOUTHMUD TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT but it is worth every cent and I would highly recommend saving up for it! To Dublin Zoo

A trip to the Zoo for many is the start of longer days and hotter months ahead. Of course with our unpredictable Irish weather that trip might be a bit of a disappointment and that ritual for marking the beginning of summer is  dampened.

However when you plan a trip to the zoo and the weather gods are with you it's an amazing day! Two weeks ago I went along to Dublin Zoo and had the most wonderful time. I adore the zoo and everything that comes with it even if it's not the cheapest day out the experience/memories are worth it!

GlamGlow: YOUTHMUD TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT Review

I had never heard of GlamGlow before, I was whisked off to an excited event where what I knew about the beauty/skincare world was all about to change!

GlamGlow has a very exciting and unique story. It started off with makeup artist using this little pot of wonder to help brighten celebrities skin in as little as 10 minuets. Or as they say on the official glam glow site:

"Designed as a 10-minute professional ‘facial in a jar’ for behind-the-scenes use in Hollywood’s Entertainment, Music, Fashion & Award industries, for immediate camera- ready glowing skin."

It helps to create a smooth and effortless base to work with helps and show off their fine makeup artistry skills as we all know a flawless base is best when working with makeup for top results.

Today I'm going to focus on the Tinglefoliate Treatement  as its a bit on the picture heavy side. You can pop on over to this link to see how i got on with the Supermud treatment.

What makes this mud mask so great is it works in 10 minuets! When i heard that my mind when straight to thinking about how amazing this would be to use just before those last minute nights out or for brides on the morning of their big day.

The results are amazing and do speak for themselves (see the end of this post for before (above is also a before), after and during). We where told at the event that that the radiant results would last up to 3 days but I find the benefits still linger for up to a week!

The big thing that comes across most face masks enthusiasts minds is that mud masks tend to dry out the skin. As the mud is sourced from the south of France the properties from this region don't dry out the skin so there is no fear of that!

So it's basically a mud mask? yes?
Well no there is one little extra special ingredient that makes this mask so wonderful it is the TEAOXI™ GREEN TEA LEAF

The quote from the official site is what makes the mud mask sound so wonderful! I am all about the antioxidants and it is great for under 30's skin which I find a lot of anti aging treatment is focused on those over the age of 30 who have developed fine lines and so on.

They claim that the results you will gain form using the YOUTHMUD mask are:

• Leaves skin noticeably radiant and glowing.

• Activates moisturizing collagen synthesis.

• Provides gentle resurfacing exfoliation.

• Helps to leave skin smoother, brighter and softer.

• Provides tighter skin texture and tighter pores.

• Helps to provide a more youthful appearance.

• Absorbs impurities without removing natural oils.

• Helps to protect against free radical damage.

At this point my inner blogger would find that one of these results did not come to pass but every box besides the last one as we can't see that one (duh) was ticket. You will seriously see these results after one use it works that fast and is what makes this little small pot so wonderful!

Now on to one of my favourite parts, the packaging. I just adore it, when I first pealed back the plastic warping, opened up the box and lifted out the glass jar which was balanced on branded cardboard I squealed a little. I adore carefully planned packaging, like this. It is however a bit of a double edged sword as my expectations go through the roof.

Now with extremely high exceptions I had to try the mud mask, as soon as...and so I did. As I twisted the jar open, a heavenly sent of strong mint greeted me. I mixed the mask as is instructed and started to apply to a clean face. The mask will start to dry creating a tingling sensation (hens the name), form this you will know YOUTHMUD TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT is working. I found that my skin tightened which helps to reduce the size of those unruly pores. Once ten minuets have passed it's time to wash off the mask with circular motions which, helps to exfoliate the skin creating an even more radiant complexion and simply pat dry to complete the 10 minute GlamGlow experience. You will be left with "Super Sexy Super Radiant Skin" as it says on the jar.

Please do excuse my naked face but I wanted to share with you just how wonderful GlamGlow is.

Now onto the tricky business of the RRP, it's by no means cheap for a 15ml jar. It retails at €59.95 (Ouch I know!). The results however are amazing to justify such a price and you will get your moneys worth out of it. Currently GlamGlow do not ship internationally from the official site but I have found two Irish companies that stock GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. beautyfeatures and millies. Do keep an eye on both sites as I saw Millies was selling Youthmud for around €45.
