NOTD first ever attempt

I have always admired nail art, but I have been one to shy away from it.
Since it became popular and that almost anyone and everyone can do it I have really shied away from it.

I decide to bite the bullet and buy a nail art brush and just start something, so this is my first ever creation! its not amazing but for a first ever go at nail art I don't think its half bad. Update #3

I really think I need to fill you guys in on my life considering I have been MIA for so long.


1. I am now finished college, it's so weird that its all over. I am now trying to deal with the fact that I have nothing to do all day long as I really need something to do this summer!

2. I had my interview for an MSC Advertising course in DIT, something which I am so excited about because it is the course for me! I will find out in two weeks if I get it. I actually think I will cry if I don't, I know it sounds so over dramatic but I really don't know what I will do if I don't get in.

3. In my last update I said I had a job, well....I'm sad to say I no longer have a job, I am still kinda upset over it because I feel I was dismissed unfairly and I really loved working there. It has kinda put me off looking for a job because I am scared that it might happen again.

4. During the time that I was MIA I turned 22, I'm well old now :P I didn't do anything for it at all, I was going to but the time has gone and I got the vibe off a few people that they where not really into it so I just left it, but between you and me I am still a bit pissed over that :p

5. Last but not least my blog turned one! Now I'm not going to lie I was going to do a give away but I don't think I have enough followers, so at some stage I will have a late happy one year blog give away.

What's in my travel make up bag? (Rome)

This post has been sitting here for the past few months. Instead of deleting  it and pretending like it never happened, I thought it would be better to share it!

I always love reading these posts, I'm very excited that I can finally do one! I went for the bare minim for this trip. I left my naked plate at home and decided to give my Smashbox brown eyes palet some love and I'm glad I did. For this post I have decided on splitting it into two, of what I brought and what I ended up using. 

What I brought:

I didn't bring that much as I didn't want to over do it on the make up front as I knew I wouldn't be wearing it  during the day.

What I used

I became very minimalist with only using a foundation and some contour, it was more that we always came back to the hotel so late that I didn't have enough time to put a full face together and the mix of such a hot climate.

I decided to do a few swatches of the colours that I used from the palette which are below. I had not used it till the trip because I was so in love with my naked palette, I only brought it with me because it is more compact that the naked palette, but I have say I was seriously impressed!

I used the Vanilla as a base and brought it up to the eye brow bone, I used Wine a the contour, I used Marble  as the overall colour of lid and lastly I used Bark on the outer edge of the eye lid and blended it in with Wine.
